Make your own crochet bucket hat for this upcoming summer with this detailed written pattern that will guide you through seven different sizes so you can make one for yourself and each member of your family. Make it with sustainable yarn to make it more eco friendly (yarn suggestions below) or use whatever you have available to save waste.

What You Will Need for The Crochet Bucket Hat Written Patten

This is the perfect hat for lounging at the beach, spending time in the garden or going for a walk. The wide brim shades the sun from your face and eyes and the body of the hat, with its airy crochet stitch, will keep your head cool.

If made with a sturdy yarn like hemp or raffia, the brim can be folded back if you prefer or kept facing down.

The pattern includes a video tutorial of how to crochet the jasmines in the round and plenty of photos to help you throughout. Each stitch is explained in full.

A toddler is wearing an army green version of the bucket hat. It has a few jasmine flowers around the top and a brim which protects their eyes from the sun. They are facing to the left and holding a small green telescope to one eye.
